1,000 health insurance cards donated to people in Bau Bang

On the afternoon of November 9, Bau Bang district’s People's Committee in coordination with provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Social Insurance Agency and Becamex IDC to organize a program on "Giving health insurance cards - One card for day of love" for people with difficult circumstances in Lai Hung, Cay Truong 2 communes in Bau Bang district’s Lai Uyen town.

Accordingly, Becamex IDC donated 1,000 health insurance cards with 6-month validity to people in the above-mentioned communes, with a total cost of more than VND 400 million. Speaking at the event, Le Minh Ly, Director of provincial Social Insurance Agency shared: Health insurance is a lifeline for patients and those with difficult circumstances. The program aims at sharing the love of enterprises and sponsors to disadvantaged people, contributing to implementing the local policies on social welfare while promoting the local movement of “all people participate in health insurance”. In the coming time, I hope Bau Bang district’s People's Committee will further call and mobilize more enterprises and donors to continue giving health insurance cards for people with difficult circumstances.

It is known that in 2022, provincial Social Insurance Agency has cooperated with the authorities of 9 districts, towns, cities and enterprises and sponsors to donate thousands of health insurance cards to the local disadvantaged people.
