100 gifts donated to the poor

On the Vu Lan festival 2012, Huynh Van Rang, 82, in Cho hamlet, Lai Thieu ward, Thuan An town presented 100 gifts worth VND200,000 each, including  rice, instant noodle, sugar…, to the local disabled and poor people (photo).

It is known that Mr.Rang frequently gives gifts to the poor on the annual Vu Lan festival. He is an outstanding donor in Lai Thieu ward with many significant activities such as giving the monthly allowance to an Agent Orange victim; presenting gifts to poor people on Tet and great holidays…
