101 points selling textbooks, learning tools with stabilized price implemented

As of now, 101 points selling textbooks and learning tools with a total value of more than VND30billion under the province’s price stabilization program have been implemented at province-based bookstores, agents, schools and rubber plantations, basically meeting the local parents’ demand for shopping in the 2016-2017 new academic year.

Provincial Department of Industry and Trade has coordinated with provincial Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Education-Training and the People’s Committees at all levels of province to regularly carry out inspection tours at agents and bookstores to assure list prices approved by provincial DOF. Accordingly, textbooks and learning tools under the province’s price stabilization program will be sold with prices being 10%-15% lower than market levels.

The People’s Committees at all levels of the province will also actively support participating enterprises, thereby creating optimal conditions for the local parents and pupils to purchase textbooks and learning tools in the new academic year.
