Phu Giao district’s Mobilization Board on Voluntary Blood Donation, on June 17, held a ceremony to honor 106 outstanding blood donors.

Over the past time, the Mobilization Board well realized its voluntary blood donation task with the participation of thousands of people and collected thousands of units of blood for the medical treatment. The whole district has so far set up 12 mobilization boards on voluntary blood donation at all levels, 37 squads on voluntary blood donation with 670 members and 12 reserve squads on voluntary blood donation.

The Mobilization Board last year teamed up with relevant agencies to organize 5 voluntary blood donation stages with 799 units of blood collected or 114.14% of the set target. Since early this year, the district also held 2 voluntary blood donation stages and collected 585 units of blood or 48.75% of the year’s plan.
