110 wheelchairs donated to the disabled

Provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients, on August 12, held a ceremony to receive 110 wheelchairs worth VND177mln from Phu My Hung Development Co.Ltd. and Lawrence S.Ting Community Support Foundation (photo).

After the ceremony, all the above wheelchairs were also presented to disabled people with difficult circumstances via provincial Social Support Center, provincial Rehabilitation Hospital and the association’s affiliates.

It is known that on this occasion, Phu My Hung Development Co.Ltd. and Lawrence S.Ting Community Support Foundation have donated 14,500 wheelchairs to disabled people in 57 provinces and cities throughout the country.

Nguyen Van Nam, Chairman of provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients said that the above gifts were seen as a great encouragement for the local disabled people, helping them get more faith in life and live usefully.
