124 “great unity” houses built

Over the past five years, Tan Uyen town mobilized organizations, individuals to build and upgrade 124 “great unity” houses with a total expense of more than VND 9billion; coordinated with relevant units to construct 12 gratitude houses with a total expense of more than VND3billion, comprising of more than VND1.5billion from the local Gratitude Fund, nearly VND1billion from many other resources and VND570million from recipients.

Especially, the town’s Fatherland Front Committee also called for organizations and individuals to donate more than VND1.5billion to support cases facing difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic; mobilized the local lodging facilities to reduce rent costs for laborers affected by the pandemic with more than VND3.1billion.
