125 “Sacombank-Nurturing dreams” scholarships awarded to local pupils, students

Early September 5, Sacombank’s Binh Duong branch awarded 125 “Sacombank-Nurturing dreams” scholarships worth VND1million plus 1 schoolbag each to poor-but-excellent pupils and students at 13 high schools, namely Trinh Hoai Duc, Vo Minh Duc, Tran Van On, Phuoc Vinh, Tan Phuoc Khanh, Binh An, Thanh Tuyen, Thai Hoa, Phuoc Hoa, Nguyen Trai, Di An, Bau Bang, Ben Cat and Thu Dau Mot university.

Pham Thanh Ky, Director of Sacombank’s Binh Duong branch said that along with business activities, Sacombank has always expressed its responsibility to the community. Sacombank has successfully set up a lot of periodic programs towards the community, comprising of the “Sacombank-Nurturing dreams” scholarship program. The annual “Sacombank-Nurturing Dreams” program aims to help poor-but-excellent pupils and students rise up and further pursue their learning. Since 2004, Sacombank has awarded scholarships to more than 28,000 pupils and students nationwide with a total expense of more than VND32billion. In 2016 alone, Sacombank has awarded 3,026 scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils and students throughout the country. Each scholarship for pupils includes VND1million and 1 schoolbag; VND3mln and 1 schoobag for students.
