12th TDM city People's Council for 2021-2026 tenure holds 5th session

The 12th Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city People’s Council for 2021-2026 tenure held its 5th session yesterday, July 25.

At the session, delegates focused on assessing the local socio-economic development, national defense and security in the first 6 months of 2022, and plan on socio-economic development for the rest of the year months while analyzing shortcomings, setting out important solutions to successfully realize socio-economic targets for 2022.

Delegates also focused on discussing and questioning issues directly pertaining to people's lives in recent years such as the situation of the pandemic, stable management of market prices and quality of education in the locality; the assurance of traffic order and safety; the implementation of projects and their impacts on the people; solutions to prevent flooding...In addition, they clarified the cause, proposed solutions; considered and approved resolutions in the fields of finance - budget, investment, public investment, urban management, land in 2022...

The meeting conducted to dismiss 7 members of the city’s People's Committee for the 2021-2026 tenure, due to a change in personnel work; elected 6 additional members of the city’s People's Committee.
