14 Youth Union branches, sub-unions for young workers established

Under the project on "Uniting and gathering young workers in the period of 2021-2025", Di An city’s Youth Union last year organized activities to gather, support and take car of young workers in industrial parks, non-State enterprises, young workers at lodging facilities, ethnic and religious youths living away from home.

The city’s Youth Union also organized football exchange activities, a festival of solidarity for young workers, ethnic youths, religious believers; held activities in response to Vietnam Workers' Month and provincial Young Workers’ Week.

In addition, the Youth Union branches of wards in the city maintained weekend playgrounds; made law dissemination and gave gifts for young workers in need; distributed leaflets on law dissemination … These programs attracted the participation of more than 5,000 young workers.

The city’s Youth Union also organized a series of journeys to establish Youth Union branches in non-State businesses with the theme of "Building up a strong Youth Union in terms of organization", completing a target of establishing 5 Youth Union brances in businesses, 9 sub-unions for 9 young workers. In addition, the city’s Youth Union awarded 3 "Dream rooms" worth VND 36 million to disadvantaged young workers and recommended 1 outstanding young worker to the Party.

In 2023, the city’s Youth Union will further maintain and promote effective programs, models and activities; strengthen personal activities giving strength to young workers; diversify programs during the Young Workers’ Week and Workers' Month 2023. On the other hand, the city’s Youth Union will donate equipment to support the activities of sub-unions for young workers at lodging facilities and carry out “Making dreams come true” works at charity classes to take care of difficult workers’offspring...
