15-year journey of Binh Duong Int'l Women's Cycling Tournament
Yesterday morning, March 7, the 15th Binh Duong International Women's Cycling Tournament officially opened at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. At 15 years old, the tournament has established itself as a recognized brand with significant value both domestically and internationally.

After 14 years of organization, the tournament gained recognition from the International Cycling Union (UCI) in its 15th year, becoming part of the official competition system. Racers will earn points based on their overall performance in the tournament, which will qualify them for participation in prestigious events around the world. This development is considered a significant milestone for the Vietnamese cycling community and reflects the efforts and unexpected successes of Binh Duong cycling and sports over the past 15 years.
The year 2025 marks an important turning point for the tournament. Two competitions will be held consecutively: the "Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2025," scheduled from March 7 to March 11, will traverse through Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces, concluding in Lam Dong. This tournament will feature nearly 300 top domestic and international female racers, including six domestic racing teams and 14 international teams from France, Iran, Uzbekistan, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Mongolia, and Taiwan (China).

The second tournament is the 15th Binh Duong International Women's Cycling Tournament 2025. It features a route that starts in Lam Dong and continues through Nha Trang, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, ending in Thu Dau Mot City on March 18. The total distance for both tournaments is 1,400 km, presenting a significant challenge for the female competitors.
As a tradition, this tournament is held annually around International Women's Day on March 8, serving as motivation for female racers to achieve their best results.
In addition to being a professional event, the Organizing Committee also distributes gifts to disadvantaged children and families along the route. This commitment to supporting those in difficult circumstances has been a hallmark of the tournament for the past 15 years.
