178 individuals and 495 workgroups honored in work of 13th NA election

The provincial Election Committee yesterday held a summing up conference on work of elections of 13th NA and People’s Council at all levels for 2011-2016 term with the participation of the provincial Election Committee chairman Vu Minh Sang.

 Excellent workgroups receive merit certificates of local People’s Committee. According to the provincial Election Committee, the elections ended successfully and democratically with the electoral rate of 99.38%. Voters elected 8 deputies for the 13th NA and 63 ones for provincial People’s Council, 263 ones for district People’s Council and 2,612 ones for communal People’s Council.

Results of the elections reflected people’s aspiration and will on the Party’s leadership and showed hi-unity between local administration, mass bodies and people. The elections’ success is a foundation to uphold capacity and strength of the whole people and boost up industrialization and modernization, making a solid premise for the locality to excel of the 11th national party congress and 9th provincial party congress’ resolutions.

Addressing the conference, Vu Minh Sang applauded efforts and dedications of mass bodies and hi-unity of local voters.

On the occasion, 52 collectives and 262 individuals were awarded merit certificates by the local People’s Committee, 126 workgroups and 233 individuals received merit certificates from the provincial Election Committee.
