The International Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament will take place in Vung Tau city from October 7-9. 

Eighteen teams from 10 countries and territories, including Japan, China, Hong Kong (China), Laos, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and host Vietnam, will compete in the tournament.

Total prize money of US$10,500 will be awarded, with the champions winning US$2,200. US$500 will also be presented to Miss Beach Volleyball.

The Vietnamese National Beach Volleyball Tournament will also be held in Vung Tau from October 3-4 with 13 men’s and 10 women’s teams taking part.

These tournaments will help Vietnamese athletes prepare to compete at the 26th SEA Games in Indonesia this November.
