2,000 notebooks donated to poor-but-excellent pupils

Thuan An town’s Labor Union has just joined hands with enterprises to award scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils who are the offspring of State employees across the town.

In 2012, enterprises have raised more than VND50mln for the scholarship fund.  Vietcombank’s Binh Duong branch has also presented 2,000 notebooks to poor-but-excellent pupils.

It is known that after three-year operation, the scholarship fund has awarded scholarships worth VND80mln and more than 2,000 notebooks to 125 poor-but-excellent pupils, helping them overcome difficulties and gain good results in study.
