20 fruit farms certified of VietGAP at Hieu Liem commune in Bac Tan Uyen district

Agriculture plays a key role in the economic structure of Hieu Liem commune with he main product of citrus fruits on a total area of nearly 1,465 hectares. Currently, 20 fruit farms in the commune have been certified to comply with VietGAP process (increased by 2 from 2020) with an area of 157.5 hectares and 2 fruit farms certified according to the organic process (increased by 1 compared to 2020) with an area of 16 hectares of oranges.

It is known that many cooperatives in the commune are focusing on harvesting and purchasing fruit in the gardens of their members, contributing to solving sales for many farmer households.
