20 vocational training classes for rural laborers to be organized in 2014

In the implementation of the project on “Vocational training for rural laborers” under the Decision No.1956/QD-TTg of Prime Minister of Government, Tan Uyen district last year expanded its vocational training and job creation network, teamed up with the local functional agencies to organize 6 vocational training classes for 140 rural laborers. Among them, there were one farming class and five non-agricultural classes.

As planned in 2014, Tan Uyen district will open 20 vocational training classes with many different skills on how to grow, tend rubber trees and tap their latex, mushroom-growing techniques, cooking techniques, industrial sewing, motorbike repairing, animal husbandry and veterinary…, for around 500 rural laborers.

It is known that the district’s vocational training for rural laborers always received the attention of the local authorities at all levels over the past time, thereby creating more opportunities for laborers to get stable jobs, contributing to shifting the local agricultural and rural structure.
