On March 20, the provincial People's Committee held a summing up conference on basic construction investment in 2013 and set out task and orientation for 2014. The provincial People's Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung chaired the conference. In the past year, the entire province had 58 works put into use, 33 of which were school works under management of local authorities. The total value of these works were at VND3,855.6bil, reaching 96.39% of plan. At the conference, participants referred to some shortcomings, reasons and key missions of the work on basic construction investment in 2014. Concluding the conference, the provincial People's Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung stressed that budget sources were balanced, mobilized positively and timely compared with the previous period and allocation of capital for basic construction investment was implemented well.
