2014 “Cultural quarter with power saving” program under review

Thu Dau Mot Electricity, on January 15, held a ceremony to review the 2014 “Cultural quarter with power saving” program.

In early 2014, the city’s Electricity set up a steering board of power saving to effectively implement the program with a target of striving to save at least 2.1% of the city’s total commercial power output. As a result, the city’s Electricity supplied 444.2 mln kWH of commercial power with the rate of loss at 4.96%. The selling price of power was VND1,700.63 per kWh. The city also saved 13,458 kWh of power or 140% of the yearly plan. This amount is worth VND23.42bln.

On this occasion, the People’s Committee of TDM city honored 7 collectives and 63 individuals for their achievements in power saving.
