2016 provincial Taekwondo Championship opens

Early Mar.4, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism kicked off the 2016 provincial Taekwondo Championship at provincial Physical Training and Sports Center.
This year’s tournament has absorbed 75 Taekwondo athletes across the province. They will compete in two events: demonstration and combat. In the demonstration event, there are men, women’s individual and team categories. Whilst, there are 6 men’s weight categories from 47kg to 63 kg and 6 women’s weigh categories from 43kg to 59kg in the combat event.
The tournament is held within two days from Mar.4 to 5. The organizers will award gold, silver and bronze medals to excellent individuals and teams at the tournament.
