250 scholarships awarded to needy children

Early June 13, Ben Cat town-based Industrial Parks (Ips)’Trade Union held a ceremony to award 250 “Making dreams come true” scholarships to poor workers’ children with good academic results in 2017 (photo).

This is the second year the town-based Ips’Trade Union has considered and offered scholarships to the offspring of workers with difficult circumstances with a desire of encouraging them to rise up in study and life.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice-Chairman of the town-based Ips’Trade Union said that parents with children at the school age need to surmount difficulties and give priority to bringing their children to school. Pupils also need to try harder in study to become useful citizens, contributing to the homeland.
