26,552 social housing units to be built from now until 2025

Provincial People's Committee has recently issued the Plan No. 4701/KH-UBND for the implementation of provincial Social Housing and Worker Housing Development Project for 2024 and 2025. The plan aims at gradually fulfilling the task of social housing development for the 2021-2025 period, with a vision toward 2030, striving to meet the social housing development targets assigned by the Government and the housing development program of the province.

The whole province has so far built 15,893 social housing units. As planned, from now until 2025, the province will continue constructing 26,552 units to meet the target set out by the Government and the project approved for the 2021-2025 period is 42,000 units

The province has set a goal of completing and developing 13,276 social housing units in 2024. In 2025, there will be a plan and a roadmap to create land funds and invest in social housing projects. Cities under the province are expected to initiate at least 1-2 projects while districts aim at developing at least 1-2 social housing projects annually.
