2nd provincial “Red-whiskered bulbul” singing contest absorbs over 140 birds

The 2^nd provincial “Red-whiskered bulbul” singing contest has just taken place at provincial Retired Cadres’ Club.

The contest lured more than 140 birds of artisans from Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, HCM city and Binh Duong. Through competition rounds, four best birds entered the final of the contest.

As a result, first, second and third prizes were awarded to three best birds of artisans Dang Nguyen in Thuan An town’s Thuan Giao ward, Pham Hung in HCM city and Nguyen Huynh Nguyen Vu from Binh Duong’s “Red-whiskered bulbul” club, respectively.

The contest was organized by provincial Ornamental Creatures Association on the occasion of the 71^st founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (Dec.22, 1944-Dec.22, 2015).
