2nd provincial street food festival absorbs around 10,000 visitors every night
The 2nd provincial street food festival 2019 took place from December 6 to 8 at Bach Dang park in Thu Dau Mot city’s Phu Cuong ward, attracting numerous visitors.
According to Nguyen Khoa Hai, Director of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this was an interesting weekend playground, luring a large number of visitors. The festival absorbed around 10,000 visitors every night. Along with booths on the local specialities, there was a booth for travel units introducing attractive tours at the event. Coming to the festival, visitors also had a chance to enjoy street art performance items.
He also said that the organizing board of the festival coordinated with functional forces to ensure the local order and security with 8 pickpockets seized. Sanitation teams also cleaned up food booths every night during the festival.
