2nd provincial Students Congress opened
On Jan. 9, the 2nd provincial Students Congress for the tenure of 2015-2020 officially opened at Thu Dau Mot city People’s Committee’s hall.
In the past term, the provincial Students Society was awarded emulation flags for 3 consecutive times for its achievements. The society at all levels effectively implemented goals, orientations and movements.
In the new term, the society’s operational programs and student movements will be carried out on the movement of “5 good student” and the program of “Building Vietnamese Students Society”. Especially, 2 works will be implemented on the congress including granting scholarships and prizes worth of VND1.5bil to students and eyeing seas and islands.
At the congress, delegates approved draft reports and orientations for the term of 2015-2020; joint signing program between local Students Society and the provincial Young Entrepreneurs Society and so on.
Particularly, the congress ratified the project of the provincial Students Society’s executive board for the term of 2015-2020; negotiation of the 2nd executive board including 29 members.
