Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide is an important program that realizes the Party's policies and guidelines. It reflects the noble nature of our regime, bringing a prosperous and happy life to people.

According to a report by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, as of now, 20 provinces and cities nationwide have set the goal of completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses earlier than required, before and during the third quarter of 2025; 13 localities have issued decisions approving the need to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in their areas.

In his opening speech at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that since the first meeting, the country has completed and handed over more than 44,000 houses and is currently constructing 34,200 houses. By the end of 2025, approximately 240,000 houses still need to be completed while the implementation time is very tight, with less than 350 days remaining. Therefore, it is essential to focus on implementing the 350-day and night peak period to successfully complete the program in 2025.

To implement this meaningful program, Binh Duong province has been tasked with supporting the two provinces of Nghe An and Bac Lieu with VND 90 billion. Additionally, Binh Duong is also expected to allocate funding for the construction and repair of 557 houses for poor households in the province, with VND 44.65 billion.
