35th Anniversary Meeting of the Vietnam Veterans' Association
On the morning of November 29, in An Binh commune, Phu Giao district, the provincial Youth Union coordinated with the provincial Veterans' Association to organize a meeting commemorating the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans' Association (December 6, 1989 - December 6, 2024) and a seminar on "Enhancing the quality of cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Veterans' Association at all levels."
In the meeting, the leaders of the Veterans Association of the province reminisced about the historical traditions of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans Association. Over the past time, the levels of the Veterans Association in the province have made many contributions to building and protecting the Party, the government, and the socialist regime; effectively promoting the tradition of "President Ho Chi Minh's soldiers"; participating actively in revolutionary movements, socioeconomic development programs, and national defense and security. The association has also collaborated with the provincial Youth Union to effectively carry out the task of educating the younger generation about traditional values.
At the program, the provincial Youth Union worked together with the provincial Veterans' Association to organize a seminar on "Enhancing the quality of cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Veterans' Association at all levels." The organizing committee presented 40 gifts to veterans, union members, and youth in difficult circumstances, and awarded 26 individuals for their outstanding achievements in collaboration.
In addition, the program organizing committee also organized free health check-ups and medicine distribution for officials, veterans, and difficult households; set up booths with wholesale prices, discounts, and organized cultural programs to promote revolutionary songs.
