3rd provincial Student Association Congress concludes

Early September 28, the 3^rd provincial Student Association for the 2023-2028 tenure entered its closing session.

The congress was attended by leaders of the Youth Union Central Committee, Vietnam Student Association Central Committee and Young Pioneer Organization Central Committee. For provincial leaders, there were comrades: Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Commission, along with leaders of departments, sectors and 250 delegates representing more than 30,000 students throughout the province.

The Executive Board of the 3^rd provincial Student Association, consisting of 33 comrades, was introduced at the congress. And its Secretariat includes 11 comrades. Le Tuan Anh was elected as Chairman of provincial Student Association for the 2023-2028 tenure.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Ha suggested provincial Student Association to further enhance its role in developing the local young human resources, continue advising on programs for students, creating a bridge between students, provincial leaders and leaders of departments, sectors in the province while having lots of forms on orientation in propaganda, education and organization of movements and activities for students. Particularly, we must better do education among students; promote the organization of emulation movements, uphold the voluntary and creative role of students; care for and support students in all aspects; innovate operational models and forms of the association in a more lively and attractive way to attract and gather more and more students...

On this occasion, the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Student Association awarded the certificates of merit to 7 individuals. Provincial People's Committee also awarded the certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 33 individuals who made many contributions to the association's work and student movements during the tenure. In addition, provincial Study Promotion Association awarded a work "100 scholarships worth VND 100 million for the local students for the 2023-2024 school year. Tin Duc General Hospital awarded a healthcare work worth 1 VND billion for members and students. Provincial Youth Talent Fund unexpectedly awarded Binh Duong provincial Young Talent Awards to 5 individuals.

The congress also paid tribute to members of the Executive Committee and members of the Secretariat of provincial Student Association who were not re-elected and members of provincial Student Association Standing Committees over periods.
