500 people offered “VND 0” market

In the morning of October 21, the Red Cross of the province held the 57th "VND 0" market fair to contribute to food and necessities support for disadvantaged people in the province.

500 disadvantaged people were supported to go to the "VND 0" market to choose goods and necessities serving their family's daily needs. In order to support the right people, the provincial Red Cross has coordinated with localities to distribute vouchers to disadvantaged households, people with disabilities, freelancers, and workers in hostels facing many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The market is always guaranteed to be safe in terms of epidemic prevention and control. People go to the market according to the time frame arranged by the organizers to avoid crowd and they always keep their distance and wear full masks during the time of going to the market.

Since the beginning of the epidemic until, the Provincial Red Cross has received over VND 11 billion in cash and thousands of tons of food and necessities supported by organizations, units, businesses and individuals inside and outside of the province. The Red Cross has organized many activities to support and share love with the frontline forces against the epidemic as well as people in difficulty in the middle of the epidemic including the "VND 0" market activities.
