50th foundation anniversary of force building “All people protect national security” movement celebrated

On July 28, Provincial Public Security held a meeting to commemorate the 50th foundation anniversary of the force building “All people protect national security” movement (16 Jun 1967 - 16 Jun 2017). Attending the meeting were former directors, deputy directors of Provincial Public Security; revolutionary veterans; representatives of branches, unions, religious dignitaries and officers, soldiers in charge of building the movement in the province.

Colonel Nguyen Hoang Thao, Director of Provincial Public Security, delivered a speech at the 50th foundation anniversary of force building “All people protect national security” movement.

At the ceremony, delegates were greeted by Lieutenant General To Lam, Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security, and watched documentary films on the process of building, fighting and maturing of All the people protect the national security. During 50 years, the force has constantly grown in all aspects; advised the Party, government to set up many advanced models; closely coordinated with various branches and unions to create a synergy, create solid people's security and national defense, contributing to firmly maintaining political security and social order and safety in the province. “All people protect national security” movement has mobilized the participation of the masses, promoted self-reliant will, enhancing the potential and strength of each person, each collective.

At the meeting, delegates contributed practical ideas to build up the movement in order to meet requirements of the new situation.
