6 months, all-level funds mobilize more than VND3.8 billion

Provincial Sponsoring Association for People with Disabilities, Orphans, and Poor patients summed up activities of the first 6 months 2019.

In the first 6 months, total fund of all-level associations directly mobilized, allocated a total value of more than VND3.8 billion, in which, province- level fund mobilized more than VND1.3 billion; funds of districts, towns, and city mobilized more than VND2.4 billion. The association and its affiliates allocated these funds and organized sponsoring activities for 7,936 people with disabilities, orphans, and poor patients; provided medical assistance, supported heart surgery for 2 patients; donated 32 wheelchairs to people with disabilities; built 22 new houses, repaired 12 houses...

According to the plan, in the last 6 months of 2019, all levels of association will implement plans for international conventions on healthcare, vocational training, job creation, livelihood support, legal assistance, and cultural activities, sports for people with disabilities.
