Promoting the achievements of the August Revolution and implementing Uncle Ho's teachings, during the past 79 years, the Party Committee and armed forces of the province were not afraid of hardships and challenges, steadfastly stood side by side with the Party Committee, government and people of the province to fight and serve the fight against foreign invaders, protect border sovereignty, build up and develop the country. These feats highlighted the tradition of "Courage, resilience - Proactiveness, creativity - Solidarity, determination to win" of the province's armed forces.
At the ceremony, authorized by the President, the Provincial Military Command announced the decision and awarded the First, Second and Third-Class Glorious Soldier Medals to 62 soldiers.
The comrades awarded medals this time are soldiers who have continuously worked for more than 25 years, 15 years and 10 years in the armed forces; always strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, are dynamic and creative in training, ready to fight to protect the Fatherland, successfully complete all assigned tasks, and are exemplary in obeying the law and discipline.
