According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services in August 2023 was estimated at nearly VND 25.6 trillion, an increase of 16.7% over the same period. Of these, retail sales of goods were estimated at more than VND 18 trillion; accommodation, eating-drinking services reached more than VND 2.29 trillion.

Thus, in the first 8 months of 2023, the province’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services was estimated at reaching more than VND 200.4 trillion, an increase of nearly 13% over the same period.
According to provincial Statistics Department, compared to the same period last year, the province’s trade and service revenue in the first 8 months of 2023 continued growing. Along with that, the province’s work of stabilizing the market was effective, with the local goods network increasingly expanded and prices remaining stable. The province’s modern distribution systems saw increase both in quantity and quality. In addition, the development of the foreign-invested sector had a strong impact on the domestic sector, creating competition and motivating domestic businesses to improve products and services at consumers’ diverse needs.
