8 out of 12 communes, township in Dau Tieng fullfil 2018 plan on rural road making, urban rejuvenation

Over the past six months, Dau Tieng district carried out 75 works on rural road making and urban rejuvenation of nearly 43 kilometers with a total cost of nearly VND30billion, including more than VND29billion from State budget and the remainders from people.

So far, 8 out of 12 communes and township have completed the 2018 plan on rural road making and urban rejuvenation. The remaining localities are expected to complete the plan in Q3. Noticeably, there are now additional 14.6 kilometers of rural roads covered by asphalt and concrete, bringing the total number of such roads to 129.66 kilometers or 21% of total.

From now till late 2018, the district will strive to get the rate of rural roads covered with asphalt and concrete at 23%-24%. The figure is expected to be 30% by 2020.
