80th "zero dong" market-day held

Early November 15, provincial Red Cross Society held its 80th "zero dong" market-day, aiming to further support people facing difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The market-day took place at provincial Red Cross Society’s humanitarian site on 30/4 street in Thu Dau Mot city’s Phu Hoa ward. Officials of the society and soldiers from provincial Military Command prepared goods, arranged appropriate stalls to serve people going to the market-day, ensuring safety in Covid-19 prevention and control. Along with food- foodstuffs, necessities, the market-day also had a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables donated by donors and enterprises with the goal of joining hands with the society to continue sharing and bringing more love to the local disadvantaged people.

Accordingly, 500 disadvantaged people including the blind, the poor, the disabled, lottery ticket sellers, workers at lodging facilities... were offered vouchers to the “zero dong” market-day. For the blind, they were supported by officials of the society at the market-day. They were very excited when leaving the market-day with gifts full of love.
