Provincial Department of Education and Training yesterday held the 2011-2012 high-school admission examination.

There were 9,514 ninth graders registering to sit for this year’s high-school entrance examination at 26 exam councils, including 491 registering take the entrance examination to Hung Vuong specialized high school.

In addition to literature, mathematics, geography, ninth graders opting for the regular test this year will sit for English test. For those who apply for admission to Hung Vuong specialized high school, they must take additional specialized subjects.

70% of the ninth graders will be admitted to 10 public schools. The remaining students will have to attend private schools…
