90 children in Tan Uyen participate in 2024 Children's Forum

Early August 27, Tan Uyen city’s People's Committee organized the 2024 Children's Forum with the theme of "Practical action, prioritizing resources for children". The forum saw the participation of 90 children representing over 48,000 teenagers and young children in the city.

During the forum, these children had the opportunity to engage in a direct dialogue with leaders from the city’s People's Committee and departments and organizations on such issues as building healthy friendship, saying no to school violence, preventing child abuse, child safety and drowning prevention, extra classes and the dangers of e-cigarettes…

Mai My Hanh, Deputy Head of the Psychology Department at Ho Chi Minh city University of Education discussed topics related to the prevention of violence and child abuse. The children's questions were thoroughly and clearly answered by representatives from the city’s People's Committee, departments and organizations. This contributed to promptly resolving these issues, ensuring the comprehensive development of the children.

On this occasion, Italian Asian Door Industry Co., Ltd. donated VND 25 million in medical expense to one child with blood cancer and gave gifts for the children participating in the forum.
