940 Community Covid Teams and Covid Teams in the hostel maintained

Up to now, Thuan An city has established 940 community Covid groups and Covid groups in hostels with 2,054 members at 392 epidemic control checkpoints, and 21 mobile medical stations in all 10 communes and wards; requisitioning locations are to establish 33 concentrated medical isolation areas of the city and 2 areas to treat COVID-19 patient.

The city has implemented vaccination against COVID-19 for the whole population towards herd immunity; it has also received support of a total amount of over VND 7,292 billion and in items of more than VND 128.42 billion for COVID-19 prevention and control. During the outbreak of the disease, the city mobilized 5,202 medical staff, doctors, police forces, military and volunteers to serve COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control. Up to now, the epidemic in the city has been basically controlled as the number of new cases and the number of treatment receipts has decreased sharply while hospital discharge has increased. Currently, only 3 concentrated medical quarantine areas and 2 treatment areas are left.
