99.98% of households in rural areas get electricity

On April 4, Binh Duong Power Company said that the company has so far continued attaching special importance to rural power supply, especially in areas without electricity. As of early 2022, there were 46 communes, 45 wards and townships in the province with electricity, reaching 100%. There were 110,859 out of 110.875 rural households with power, or 99.98%. Now, there are only 16 households without electricity, due to objective factors.

In addition, the company has regularly cooperated with departments, agencies, sectors and local authorities to well implement the National Target Program on new-style rural construction, contributing to meeting electricity criteria of the program with all 46 communes meeting the electricity criterion 4 and recognized as new-style rural ones.
