Joining hands in the Action Month for Children, many organizations and individuals in the province have organized lots of activities to take care of children with difficult circumstances. With the desire of bringing a colorful and vibrant summer of love, a group of volunteers, including young people from business brands in the province has organized a drawing activity "Season bearing heavy fruits- season for children" for children at province-based social support facilities.
Colorful summer
Summer is the occasion for many parents to organize activities for their children to experience through trips to discover, return to the source, visit grandparents... Some parents even choose to let their children participate in activities to experience, learn lifeskills, uphold aptitudes… However, not all children receive such care.
Orphans at Ngoc Quy Social Support Facility unleash their creativity through drawing
Many organizations and individuals have also organized delegations to visit and offer gifts to children at province-based social support facilities. In the spirit of bringing more joy to orphans, Muoi Tam Cong Binh Duong Joint Stock Company has cooperated with Binh Duong brands to visit and organize a drawing activity "Season bearing heavy fruits- season for children".
Going to Ngoc Quy Social Support Facility in Thu Dau Mot city’s Hiep An ward last weekend, we had the opportunity to feel more about sharing love. Young people representing brands in Binh Duong such as The Cup Café, C10 Kid - Thao Macrame, La Fee DIY, Bin Rou, Moc Workshop, Plutus Tarot, Crochetbyvin, The Cakery Space brought 45 children here a colorful summer day.
Each child was given a glass of lemonade from C10 Kid - Thao Macrame, a set of painting tools, including canson paper, brush, watercolor and glass frame. After being guided by members of the voluntary group, children performed their painting work. After 2 hours of working hard with brush styles, many children created paintings with vibrant colors of love. Although the pictures only showed the blue sky and the meadow full of flowers, each child had an aspect with different shaping styles.
Having the opportunity to chat with the "child painters" with impressive paintings, we were even more impressed by their determination to make their dreams come true. Nguyen Le Chau Minh (11 years old) said that she loves drawing and has a dream to become an artist. It is known that Chau Minh has won many high prizes in many painting competitions organized by Thu Dau Mot city and the province. She said: “I will try to study well and practice drawing regularly so that later I can enter Ho Chi Minh city University of Fine Arts.”
For Ngo Thien Nhu Hieu (10 years old), her name was given by her grandmother (Mrs. Ngoc Quy, owner of Ngoc Quy Social Support Facility). Hieu loves his grandmother very much because she has worked so hard to raise him and send him to school. Therefore, Hieu's dream is to become an actor so that he can earn a lot of money to help his grandmother take care of the brothers and sisters here.
Sharing love
Being touched by the stories of the orphans here, Huynh Thi Thu Ngan, a staff of La Fee DIY said that for the children to be able to draw their own pictures with watercolors, Thu Ngan guided them how to draw each line very simply. After completing their works, the children's eyes were filled with joy, the clear image of nature mixed with the colors of flowers and leaves..., creating a sense of peace, evoking more creative inspiration. Thu Ngan hopes that the children will create beautiful pictures about their upcoming future and many people will join hands to give wings for their dreams to fly higher and farther so that they soon become useful citizens for the society.
According to Nguyen Thi Dung, Finance Director of Muoi Tam Cong Binh Duong Joint Stock Company, in order to carry out this meaningful charity activity, the company coordinated with brands in Binh Duong to organize a fair at The Coffee Cup on Phu Loi street in Thu Dau Mot city. With the purpose of extracting profits to organize voluntary activities for orphans on the occasion of International Children's Day, joining hands in the Action Month for Children of Binh Duong, the fair attracted a large number of visitors and shoppers with 30 booths of 29 brands doing business in the province. The market was held in the summer when many trees bear fruits and are under harvest.
The fair called "bearing fruits" was a word describing the image of a tree bearing fruits, being reminiscent of a bountiful crop and wanting to share so that everyone can live more positively and happily. The fair was organized with the desire of connecting local brands and it was also a destination for exchanging and sharing to help promote individual brands to young people. After the fair ended, stalls shared 10%-20% of their revenue, contributed to organizing the drawing activity "Season with fruits - season for children" and giving gifts for Ngoc Quy Social Support Facility.
