A fire under timely extinguishment

At 21:10 pm on April 22, a fire occurred at the Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company (Casumina)’s chemical workshop, which is located at the fourth storey of the company’s six-storey building in Tan Uyen district’s Uyen Hung township.

Fourteen fire engines and about 48 firemen were sent to combat the fire. The fire was stamped out at 22:50pm. No causalities were reported. All machines, production lines and 1,000 tons of natural rubber in the fire-affected area were protected by the above firemen. The cause of the fire is under inspection.
