A revolutionary veteran awarded the second-class Labor Medal

Late November 13, Thuan An town’s Party Committee held a delegation to visit Bui Xuan Thuan, former Deputy Secretary of Thu Dau Mot province, member of Party Standing Committee of Song Be (now called Binh Duong) and encourage him to live happily, healthily and be a bright example for descendants.

On behalf of the State President, Tran Thanh Liem, Secretary of Thuan An town’s Party Committee awarded the second-class Labor Medal to Bui Xuan Thuan for his contributions to the cause of national construction and defense. The delegation also presented a 60-year Party membership insignia to him.

Bui Xuan Thuan is now at the age of 82. Although having a poor health, he still has a good mind, especially recalling the heroic fighting time of the army and people of Thu Dau Mot province, Song Be province that is now Binh Duong. He also expressed his deep gratitude to the attention of the Party and State for him and his family over the past time.
