A series of investigative reports by Binh Duong Newspaper wins C prize of 19th National Press Award

On the evening of June 21 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Journalists Association hosted an art program to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and the 19th National Press Awards ceremony for 2024. The theme of this year's event was "Steel in the Pen, Fire in the Heart." Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the ceremony and presented the 19th National Press Awards.

Final Jury for the National Press Award evaluated and judged 183 works that passed the preliminary round, ultimately selecting 128 outstanding press works for recognition. The awards comprised 13 A prizes, 27 B prizes, 49 C prizes, and 39 Encouragement prizes. Notably, Binh Duong Newspaper received a C prize for a series of investigative reports titled "Exposing Illegal Gas Filling Lines in Binh Duong," authored by journalists Le Tam Trang, Hoang Dung Tuan, and Tran Minh Duy.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, representing the Party and State leaders, acknowledged and expressed deep gratitude for the significant contributions made by press agencies, veteran journalists, and generations of journalists to the revolutionary cause. The Prime Minister expressed his belief that journalists and press agencies will continue to strive creatively, adapt, and overcome challenges, producing more impactful press works that resonate with emotion and the essence of life. He also affirmed that the Party, State, Government, and Prime Minister are committed to supporting relevant agencies in developing appropriate mechanisms and policies to enhance the Revolutionary Press further, ensuring it contributes effectively to the revolutionary goals of the Party, State, and people.

The Prime Minister highlighted that the revolutionary press plays a vital role in the nation's progress and development, serving as a source of motivation, inspiration, and aspiration for growth and value creation.
