A US$50mil project licensed

The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung yesterday granted investment license to TBC Ball Beverage Can Vietnam Ltd. - a joint venture project between the US Ball Group and Thailand TBC Group which has the investment capital of $50 million.

The project manufacturing beverage and beer can will be built at VSIP II and put into operation by 2012 with the capacity of 850 million cans per year. These products will be consumed in local market and exported to neighboring countries of Lao and Cambodia…

At the license ceremony, the chairman pledged to facilitate the company’s operation.
