A young man loves to do good things

Vu Trong Quan, a citizen of TDM City, is familiar to the poor, the sick in and outside the province. 2 times/ week, he and his friends in White Dove Club offer small gifts to difficult circumstances or provide meals to for the elderly at social protection center. Additionally, he is also an typical example of voluntary blood donation movement with over 20 times of donating blood.

Quan said, in 2003, he was a Youth Union member, so he pioneered to donate blood to encourage other people. Later and now, he has been engaged in voluntary blood donation movement. “Blood donation is a noble deed. Part of my blood might save others. Blood donating also save blood for ourselves, in case of unfortunate incidents…” said Quan.

White Dove Club chaired by Quan has many practical activities to help people having difficult circumstances. The club was re-established in 2010, aims to help people having difficult circumstances, connect benevolent hearts through activities, such as: giving gifts to the poor, offering books to poor children, free meals to elderly people…

Currently, the club has about 40 members contributing to help other people. Each month, a member of the club contributes at least VND100,000, or VND500,000, VND1 million if they want. Although fund for each charity trip is small, about VND5-7 million, these have shown the spirit of solidarity, shared the most difficult moments with disadvantaged.
