Just a few years into teaching, young teacher Bui Xuan Truong at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School in Thuan An city, always internalizes the teaching of President Ho Chi Minh that "Teachers must pay attention to both talent and virtue; talent is culture, expertise; virtue is politics. Should we want students to have virtue, teachers must have virtue."

The drum that starts school cleaning

From a young age, Bui Xuan Truong has always harbored many dreams for himself. With the desire to do something useful for the society, which is to spread what is right and beautiful in life, Truong chose the teaching profession to be attached to.

Graduating from the Department of Primary Education at Thu Dau Mot University with an excellent degree, Bui Xuan Truong feels proud of his efforts in the learning and training process. After leaving the university, at the end of 2022, Bui Xuan Truong passed the civil service examination for the education sector and started working at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School.

In the academic year 2022-2023, Mr. Truong is assigned to teach and be the homeroom teacher of class 4/8; in the academic year 2023-2024, he teaches and is the homeroom teacher of class 5/4, also serving as the Deputy Secretary of the school's Youth Union.

While performing professional work, as well as youth union work, what Mr. Truong is passionate about is wholeheartedly dedicated to the task of building a civilized and cultured lifestyle at the school.

Because of that, the implementation of cultural and civilized lifestyle at school has been deployed and achieved many results; including the model of "Cleaning school drum sound".

The school drum rings, all students of Tran Quoc Toan Primary School go out to the yard to pick up trash instead of doing physical activities or singing and dancing like usual. They all start cleaning the classrooms.

Each of you has a task, each class has a duty, everyone is diligent and active. The fallen leaves around the yard, the scraps of paper, candy wrappers etc. are carefully collected by the students in the designated place.

Hundreds of students and teachers join hands to clean up like diligent bees. In no time, the entire schoolyard and classroom corridors are clean.

In recent times, Mr. Bui Xuan Truong has had many effective and creative ways in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle, such as implementing the "Exchange trash for gifts" model, the "Green classroom" solution with many green areas in the classroom, a corner for students to love nature, and contributing one tree every week that all contributing to the construction of a happy school and classroom.

In addition, Teacher Truong, together with the school's youth union, maintains good implementation of waste classification by students, promotes environmental awareness through various forms among students; mobilizes youth union members to actively participate in environmental programs and activities.

In addition to professional work, the teacher also actively participates in various movements at school, with enthusiasm and responsibility. All the movements of the Youth Union and the Youth Pioneers at school have developed very well.

It is known that, in professional activities, Mr. Bui Xuan Truong always fulfills the regulations of the industry and the school well.

During the teaching process, the teacher has a spirit of seeking, constantly learning and improving professional knowledge and skills; being enthusiastic in work, demonstrating a high professional role and responsibility such as regularly attending classes, organizing specialized topics, using effective teaching aids; regularly referring to books, newspapers, the internet, and applying information technology in teaching, and always innovating teaching methods with students as the center to regularly improve professional skills; wholeheartedly dedicated to assigned tasks.

As the Deputy Secretary of the school's Youth Union, Mr. Bui Xuan Truong always sets a good example, takes the lead, and guides the activities of the organization to go deeper, creating a favorable environment to help the members in the Youth Union strive for good results in studying and training.

With relentless efforts, Mr. Bui Xuan Truong was honored to receive the commendation from the Provincial Youth Union, achieving the title of "Progressive Youth Following the Provincial Party's Words" for the period of 2020-2022; being praised by Thuan An City as an "Exemplary Young Party Member" at the city level in 2024, successfully completing the tasks of the academic year 2023-2024, being an excellent teacher at the city level for the academic year 2023-2024; at the same time, he also won first prize in the competition on understanding the law on building cultural and civilized urban lifestyles in Lai Thieu Ward in 2023.
