Youth Unions at grassroots level regularly organize trips to effective production models so that youngsters can learn experience from them

The Youth Union of Hoi Nghia ward in Tan Uyen city has just coordinated with the ward’s Police Agency and Hoi Nghia Secondary School to organize propaganda on fire fighting-prevention and social evils prevention among the local Youth Union members in 2024. During the propaganda session, the local Youth Union members and students were disseminated by the ward’s police on skills to participate in safe traffic and propagandize the Road Traffic Law; learnt about causes and measures to prevent traffic accidents; grasped methods and tricks of criminal activities, drugs and social evils; were guided how to prevent school violence and prevent abuse against students. They were also equipped with useful knowledge and necessary skills to participate in promptly responding to fire and explosion situations; get information about fire prevention, fighting, rescue and know how to use fire extinguishers...

Nguyen Thi Hong Lan, Secretary of Hoi Nghia ward’s Youth Union said that in the coming time, the ward’s Youth Union will further focus on coordinating with relevant unit to propagandize, educate skills and update new propaganda contents that are close to the reality of Youth union members and students. In addition to improving legal knowledge, awareness of compliance with regulations, vigilance, proactive prevention and personal safety protection, propaganda activities also have the meaning of promoting a sense of responsibility for each individual in order to become an active propagandist in family and society.

Career orientation

In recent years, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have paid attention to academic and career orientation for Youth Union members, high and secondary-school students at the development needs of the local youth. Grasping the career guidance desires of students, Di An city’s Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organization have just coordinated with provincial English Club for the Community to organize the "Position yourself" career guidance program - streaming students after high school graduation at city-based schools. The program contributed to propagandizing and raising awareness of parents and students about the role, meaning and importance of making vocational education and streamlining students after secondary school graduation...

Through career guidance programs, students have more awareness in choosing majors, professions and learning paths that suit their abilities, strengths and personal aspirations. In the activity of accompanying young people in learning, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have further organized propaganda activities on building a learning-based society; promoted coordination of career guidance for secondary and high school students and diversify programs to improve digital and foreign language skills among Youth Union members...

Along with studying, the issue of business startup is also of great interest to young people. Therefore, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have focused on implementing activities to introduce jobs, get involved in business startup; maintained start-up youth clubs, youth cooperative groups, supported loans and seedlings while organizing trips to effective production models, helping young people learn techniques and promote the spirit of diligence with ambition and will to develop the economy and establishing their position in life and setting themselves up in business...

According to provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, provincial Youth Union will focus on improving the operational efficiency of public service units in training and improving social practice skills for teenagers and children. In 2024, provincial Youth Union will continue successfully implementing a Project on "Office for consulting, supporting and developing youth in the period of 2022-2025" with activities to organize legal support, reproductive healthcare, vocational training, job introduction. Specifically, provincial Youth Union will organize 35 training classes on social practice skills for pupils, students, young workers... In addition, provincial Youth Unions at all levels will ensure the regular implementation of law dissemination and drug prevention among children and teenagers...
