Actions of gratitude well implemented

July is the month of gratitude. Binh Duong has carried out various activities and actions to express the tradition and ethics of gratitude. On marking the 71^st anniversary of Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 to July 27, 2018), Binh Duong Newspaper reporter interviewed Nguyen Ngoc Hang, the Deputy Director of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs regarding the activities of gratitude in the province.

- Madam, Binh Duong has made efforts to care for the policy beneficiaries, resulting in 99% of people who made a living equal or higher than the average living standards of residents. With that result, what are the advantages and disadvantages of caring for people with meritorious services?

- The care of policy beneficiaries and people with merit in the province has always been attended by all levels and branches, especially the close and deep guidance and guidance of the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Vietnam. The resolution of policies and regimes of the Party, the State in general and the province in particular for families of martyrs, war invalids and families with meritorious services to the revolution have been fully and promptly implemented. The spirit, responsibility and service attitude of the contingent of cadres and civil servants engaged in the work of settling regimes and policies towards people with meritorious services to the revolution have been raised. In recent years, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has advised the provincial leaders to take care of the policy beneficiaries through the support to build houses of gratitude; visiting gifts; employment support for descendants of policy beneficiaries; regular monthly allowance; seeking the remains of martyrs; renovating, upgrading the martyrs’ cemetery, etc.

However, there are still some difficulties, at time and at some local places have not paid attention in a synchronous way; policy propaganda has not reached any beneficiaries. In addition, the economy has difficulty mobilizing support fund ò "Gratitude" for the benefactors, businesses have difficulty so funds to care for people who have merit is also limited. Therefore, in the coming time, it is necessary to intensify the propaganda activities in a diversified and diversified manner. try to disseminate the government's policies to the public; At the same time, the personnel in charge of the work of war invalids and social affairs at the grassroots level, especially at the commune, ward and township levels.

- Does Binh Duong still have any record of outstanding beneficiary people? How is the identification of martyrs insufficiently solved, madam?

- Pursuant to the provisions of Decision No. 408/QD-LDTBXH on the process of handling dossiers of outstanding people with the goal of ending 2017, basically resolving the outstanding dossiers of martyrs, war invalids and beneficiaries. For example, in the case of war invalids and war invalids, provincial and city police departments and provincial and city police departments are not registered at Binh Duong. However, based on the results of the implementation of the outstanding dossiers for the recognition of martyrs, war invalids and beneficiaries of policies such as war invalids, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs shall step by step expand the certification of surviving dossiers. Concentrate on other subjects. At this point, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs will implement, guide the dossier to enjoy the regime when the new guidance of MOLISA.

At present, many graves of martyrs in the district and provincial martyrs’ cemetery lack information. These cases will be dealt with in accordance with Decision No. 150/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the scheme for identifying missing martyrs' remains and instructions from the Department of Human Resources. In the Official Letter No. 600/person having merits-LTHS on the collection of samples of biological evaluation of AND determining the identity of martyrs' remains, Official Letter No. 191/Loner-LTHS dated February 21, 2013 on retrieval biological samples of martyrs for genetic testing.

- Madam, in 2018, the special month of gratitude, what are the major events for the beneficiaries?

- For July 27 this year, from early 2018, the Department has advised the provincial People's Committee issued Directive No. 11/CT-UBND on organizing the 71th anniversary of Martyrs’ Day in the province. Besides, the budget for gift giving 27-7 for the people on the anniversary of TB-LS; coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to implement the package of interior furniture to donate to heroic Vietnamese mother and the family of the peasants who have been surveyed since 2016; coordinated with districts, town, city and Department of Construction to review the object of housing difficulties to build, repair the house. Beside that, in cooperation with Becamex IDC Company awarded social housing according to the plan of 70-year sponsorship package.

For districts, towns, Thu Dau Mot City, and units, depending on the conditions for deduction of budget funds or mobilization for those who are subject to difficult policies in their respective localities. From there, helping them to stabilize their lives and simultaneously reflect the doctrine of "drinking water from the source" of the nation.
