Activities celebrating Vietnam Women’s Day held

Early October 20, provincial Association for the Blind held a conference to review activities of its Board for Women’s Affairs during the 2006-2016 period.

The whole province now has a total of 346 blind women and 13 blind girls. Over the past 10 years, the association’s Board for Women’s Affairs tried to organize a variety of practical activities for blind women, helping them step by step rise up and secure a stable life.

*The same day, the Trade Union of TDM city’s sector of education-training held a meeting for 118 female teachers.

These female teachers had a chance to hear ways to bring up healthy and obedient children from doctor Tran Huu Nhon, former Head of the Emergency Department of the HCM city-based Children’s Hospital 2. The meeting also helped them get more experience in building up cultural-equal-advanced and happy families.
