Upholding the tradition of gratitude of the people, after the liberation of the South and unification of the nation, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, authority and people have paid much attention on gratitude to constributors as the major task of the locality. Accordingly, all the contributors to the revolutionary cause in the province have been offered living standard equivalent and higher than locals.

 

 

Before the nation unification, Binh Duong was a locality of war conflicts holding within D Warzone and the nicknamed Iron Triangle. The locality witnessed glorious victory of Bong Trang, Nha Do, and so on, making it a province of high quantity of revolutionary contributors. In peacetime and through 40 years, Binh Duong Provincial Party and people have been making practical actions to offer such contributors stable life. In recent years and during the reforming stage, the economy of Binh Duong Province has been growing in the face of good promotion of gratitude amongst local leadhership towards the contributors to the revolutionary cause.

 

 

Inheriting and promoting the contemporary achievements and legacy of the former Song Be Province, Binh Duong Provincial authority, from the date of re-establishment, has implemented policies and preferential treatments towards the contributors to revolutionary cause.  

 

By the direct leadership and command of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, People's Council, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee and by the well coordination of departments and agencies, the provincial authority has fulfilled monthly payments of allowances to over 8,000 contributors to revolutionary cause, quantitatively at VND 12 billion a month. To mitigate difficulties of the socially privileged families, local authority has called upon agencies, units, enterprises, and individuals to support and donate for construction and repair of over 5,600 charity houses at the cost of over VND 101 billion while presenting 3,900 saving books at the cost of over VND 1.5 billion. 

 

Aside from treatments and accommodation offering to socially privileged subjects, the tasks of discovering and gathering martyr remains back to Provincial Martyr Monument have been particularly made. From 1997 to 2014, 1,438 martyr remains have been gathered in the historical constructions accessible by the martyr relatives. 

 

The movement of wards and towns upholding good treatments for martyrs, injured veterans, and contributors has been maintained and well implemented. Up to date, the province has all its grassroots approved of well treatments towards the martyrs, the injured veterans, and revolutionary contributors.

 

 

Through various and diversified movements and forms, socially privileged families have been support to overcome hardship including the poverty reduction movements and household business supports.

For highly socialized movements, local departments, units, agencies, enterprises, and people have joint up to help socially privileged subjects.

 

One of the honorable actions of kindness is that all heroic mothers in the locality have been offered life-time care by enterprises. 

 

Many enterprises and donators have preserved monies to care for socially privileged subjects.

 

THP Group has been maintaining its annual gift offering to 9 socially privileged families at Vinh Phu Ward of Thuan An Town. Sabeco Mien Dong, through years, has constructed charity houses for socially privileged families. Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC and Dau Tieng One-member Co. Ltd. have contributed billions to charity house building for socially privileged families and heroic mothers. 

 

Recently, Binh Duong Provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee has call upon donation for furniture offering to heroic mothers, injured veterans and socially privileged families living in hardship at the cost of over VND 7 billion.

 

Besides, local organizations, especially, enterprises have responded to provincial decisions of taking care for all living heroic others, injured veterans, and socially privileged families in harsh conditions. As result, many have overcome their lives of hardship to emerge as excellent and successful business persons.
