Activities to improve the population quality to be performed

On 6 Aug, Provincial Population and Family Planning Brach Office held a conference to review works in first half of the year and set up tasks in the last 6 months 2018.

In order to improve the quality of population in the coming time, some important tasks in second half of the year was to continue implementing the projects to improve the population quality (gender imbalance at birth, prenatal, prenatal screening - neonatal screening, elderly and youth development programs); launching campaigns to strengthen propagation integrated with service delivery; developing a surveillance plan for areas implementing campaigns; executing the community consultation plan for young workers in enterprises in the province.

For the implementation of family planning targets, in the second quarter of 2018, Provincial Population and Family Planning Brach Office conducted many activities such as prenatal screening of pregnant women, neonatal screening, prenatal health consultation, and checked total number of children born in the province... The current sex ratio at birth is 107.2 boys per 100 girls.
