Activity themed "Youth volunteers to protect the Fatherland" organized

On December 7, the Party Committee of the Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Party Committee and Command of Battalion 16, organized a thematic activity program at the barracks of Battalion 16 - Air Defense Brigade 71 (Corps 4) for the fourth quarter of 2024. The theme of the program was "Youth Volunteers to Protect the Fatherland."

At the program, Captain Pham Ngoc Vinh, Deputy Political Commissar of Battalion 16, reported on propaganda topics to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, the tradition of Battalion 16, Brigade 71; organized a contest to learn about "The founding day of the Vietnam People's Army and the National Defense Day" for party members and soldiers of the two units.

The Provincial Youth Union Party Committee awarded scholarships to 19 children of party members, employees, and collaborators, as well as children of soldiers from Battalion 16 in difficult circumstances. After the awards, the delegation visited production sites and the soldiers' residence, participated in tree planting at the 16th Battalion's barracks for "Civilized Saturday," provided labor recruitment information for discharging soldiers, and organized a football match between the youth of both units.
